    klintman,
you're correct. You can hook up the stock map sensor into the jrsc (or turbo) intake manifold to read boost. Stock map sensor with Hondata can read up to 11psi of boost. If you are boosting higher than that, you need a GM 3bar map sensor.

I have had my Hondata for about 5 months now. I still haven't dynotuned with it yet. I have used it to check to CEL codes, set my Throttle Position Sensor, and upgrade my fuel maps. (550cc injectors idling like a stock car.) Hondata's customer service is great, they are completely willing to help. Hondata is constantly updating and educating people on there website with tons of hard to find and hard facts on honda's. Hondata has awesome growth potential, they have already come out with an update since I bought my ECU and it cost me nothing to upgrade.

There are only a few item of concern I would have regarding Hondata. Is there someone that can or is willing to tune with hondata near you. The other is maybe just a problem for me.

When you are about to shift to the next gear and your clutch pedal doesn't actually start to engage until your really close to the bottom so you start to push it in a bit say at 6600k rpms then bam your revlimit(for full throttle shift) hits and drops you to 6k rpm and ruin your run. Why does this happen, because your clutch sensor goes off as soon as you start to push it in and the hondata thinks your clutch is in and is keeping your car at 6k (6k is the stock setting)rpms for the next shift. I set my Full Throttle shift to 7600 rpms to work around this for now and for the time being I don't full throttle shift anyhow. This is the only thing I have really found anoying or at all disturbing about my Hondata and it is actually working as designed so it may be I just need to learn to not anticipate my shifts.

Yes and no. You need the emulator, but once you have it, you can drive around with the car running from it and tune on the fly. No need to burn chips. You can leave it plugged in forever as long as it has power.

With the emulator and laptop, the system can be tuned "on the fly". No ROM burning is required between each change. You just make your change, download the changes (happens in the blink of an eye for fuel/ignition tables) and keep going. Once you're done, and you don't want to power the system via the emulator, you burn the ROM (you can re-use the same one over and over) and you're done.

How hard is it to understand? Is there anybody close to memphis TN that I could come and look at? I would be willing to drive about 5 hours and stay over night somewhere.
